O Azerbaij\u00e3o pagou 2,5 bilh\u00f5es de euros entre 2012 e 2014, em grande parte para subornar pol\u00edticos no exterior, incluindo os do Conselho Europeu \u2013 revela uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o feita por jornais europeus sobre aquele pa\u00eds petroleiro do C\u00e1ucaso.<\/p>\n

Publicada nesta ter\u00e7a-feira, a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o \u201cLaundromat\u201d (\u201cLavanderia\u201d) foi dirigida em conjunto pela Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) e por uma dezena de jornais, incluindo o franc\u00eas \u201cLe Monde\u201d, o alem\u00e3o \u201cSuddeutsche Zeitung\u201d e o brit\u00e2nico \u201cThe Guardian\u201d.<\/p>\n

A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de mais de 16.000 transa\u00e7\u00f5es revelou um sistema para \u201clavar dinheiro de origem duvidosa, para financiar o padr\u00e3o de vida dos caciques do regime e comprar, com dinheiro, amizades no exterior\u201d, apontou o \u201cLe Monde\u201d.<\/p>\n
